Compulsory Theory Course (Sensibilisation)
Purpose
Develop a sense of driving around all traffic stakeholders, including the driver and his vehicle facing the environment and potential dangers, in order to adopt defensive and responsible driving.
Course
Also known as Road Traffic Theory, it is officially eight hours long and will be taught by a certified driving instructor.
Divided into 4 parts of 2 hours, each will be dedicated to a particular subject:
- Observation: the vision and the senses
- Environment: traffic and its stakeholders
- Traffic : the vehicle and behavior in road traffic
- Tactic : defensive driving and ability to drive
In summary, the awareness course teaches you to anticipate dangers in order to drive safely. It is a complement to the theory exam by approaching more concrete situations through real situations.

- Presentations with videos
- Theoretical parts
- Group discussions
- Scenarios
You will receive a certificate at the end of the course, which is recognized by all automobile services in Switzerland.
Advices
- You must be in possession of your student driver’s license
- You can already drive before the course
